- Lead maintenance safety and environmental compliance initiatives
- Provide technical assistance to the maintenance department and be the maintenance liaison with plant engineering and operations. Lead predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
- Provide maintenance support to plant
- Lead energy efficiency programs – steam, air, nitrogen, and training
- Provide daily supervision of maintenance mechanical department
- Maintain and improve mechanical systems, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
- Inspect, maintain installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design, equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
- Provide technical assistance to operations
- Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Five plus years’ of work experience in the Chemical/Petrochemical/Refining or related Manufacturing environment.
- Good working knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices including RCM, RCFA, Bad actor improvements, Precision maintenance and Preventive/Predictive maintenance.
